Merchant Control

Businesses that join the Veniar Network should decide what rewards they offer, when they offer them, and how customers redeem them. RewardsNow does not override merchant offer terms.

The principle of merchant control

A loyalty network is only valuable if merchants trust it. Merchants trust it when they can control what they are giving away, to whom, and on what terms. RewardsNow services are designed to preserve merchant control at every level.

Veniar merchants set their own offer terms — what rewards they give, when offers are active, what the redemption conditions are, and when they expire. Veniar provides the infrastructure. Merchants provide the offers.

What merchants control

Offer type and value: merchants decide what reward to give and how much it is worth to their business.

Availability windows: merchants can set specific times, days, or periods when offers are active.

Redemption conditions: merchants set the minimum point balance required and any other redemption rules.

Participation: merchants can pause or deactivate offers at any time through the Merchant Dashboard.

What RewardsNow controls

RewardsNow sets baseline standards for network participation — primarily to ensure that offers are clearly described and that redemption terms are accessible to customers. These standards are outlined in the Merchant Agreement.

Beyond those baseline standards, RewardsNow does not dictate offer terms to individual merchants.
